I saw this in a magazine, they use colors that aren't too bright and then decorate them with black lines. Paint your nails a color like green or a pale purple like muave. Take the black using the whole brush to make a line starting from the middle of your nail bed. I only did the ring fingers but you can do all of your fingers if you'd like.
