5 Things To Try

I just found theglitterguide, which is a website full of fashion, beauty, and lifey things. They have this article series that they post on Fridays called "5 Things To Try This Weekend" and I can never resist these types of posts. So predictably they give you five ideas to try. And as one always trying to find new and fun things to do, I have saved every single post they have done and put it upon myself to complete each one.
I just started last weekend's list, I know it's not the weekend, but that's how I roll. I figure there are five things why not spread it out through the week
The first one was to cuddle up with a book. Which I accomplish almost every day. Check.
The second one which I just completed (sort of) tonight is glamping. They said since it's the winter we can glamp inside, which is my kind of camping.
I'm not exactly sure what glamping entails, but I think I did pretty well with the food aspect of it all.

First I roasted a hotdog over the stove. In my opinion over the stove tastes the best.

Then I made smores. Tried something I found on pinterest. Melt chocolate chips, milk, and marshmallows over the stove, pour into a pan, layer marshmallows over that and stick it in the oven until the marshmallows start to turn a golden brown.

Then dip Graham crackers in it.

I think I'd rather just make the classic smores. It tastes ok, it's quite sweet, but it was a bit of a hassle to make. The recipe I got just told me to melt the ingredients, stick marshmallows on top and pop it in the oven. Nothing about how much to use and at first I was melting it in the microwave which wasn't working so well, looked at the pin again and saw that it looked like it was being melted on the stove. It also made quite a mess.
After that I did some zumba to burn off those calories because some camps have dance classes. And I'm going to put those calories back on with popcorn and a movie probably in a pillow fort. (I have been to a camp where they watched a movie on a projector screen. I believe it was Napoleon dynamite)
