Book: War Brides by Helen Bryan
Worth Reading?: I don't know.
Another one that I did not finish. I just get bored so easily. It seemed promising at first. It's historical and I'm all about history. I hated the way it was written though. Each chapter is a new date and they could be two years from the last chapter. What? What happened during these last two years? Another thing is there were way too many characters. It's based on the lives of five girls, but then you also have a bunch of extra characters for each girl. It was hard remembering who's who.
Obviously this lady and I have totally different tastes in books and I'm going to predict that I will find that most of these books are not worth reading, at least for me. The next book I can already say that I will most likely not like it also. His books are what you read in a high school English class, such as, oh we'll say The Kite Runner. I like young adult, dystopian, rom-com, paranormal books. I should probably fix that since I'm going to be an English major, but there's a difference between reading a book for pleasure and reading for school, you know?
Disclaimer: Now you know I'm an English major, don't expect well written posts. This is definitely a place for all my sloppiness, save the grammar for school. Ok and also because I write these pretty quickly and write anything that pops into my head.
