Verdict: I wasn't a huge fan. It was okay, but I won't be making it again. The fresh parsley was too strong for me. If you make it, make sure there are no leftovers or throw them away. I had it the next day and it just didn't taste good. This was the first time I had eggplant and it's not bad, but I wish I had it in a different more tastier way for the first time. Lots of cheese makes it better though.

Ok, so I subscribed to ipsy again. I saw the May bag and fell in love, ok?! And I really liked what I got. There wasn't anything in it that I disliked this time. Also I figured I needed to see what they offer during the summer, you know kind of like you need to date a person through all 4 seasons. I was not disappointed. This eyeliner is amazing! It goes on so dark and smooth. It is perfect for winged eyeliner and I LOVE eyeliners that roll up instead of sharpening.
This lip balm is super soft! Like the softest balm I've ever used. It smells like lavender, which was a bit strong at first, but as I wear it the smell goes away. And each time I put it on, it's not as strong as the first time because I've gotten used to the smell, which is quite relaxing. I also received a lipstick, face cleanser, and an eyeshadow blending brush, which were all nice.

I saw Blaqk Audio. These pictures were from their acoustic session/meet and greet, which I was lucky enough to attend. I found out about it the day before we left, so I had to make sure we got up in time to get there because it was a six hour drive. I've been in love with them (Davey Havok and Jade Puget) forever. AFI is my favorite band, so it was very surreal when I finally met them. Then later that night was the actual show. I got to see them perform twice in one night! At the show is where I found my new obsession. Night Riots opened for them and that singer is beautiful. He has some major eyebrow game and an amazing facial bone structure and his hair just made it all come together beautifully. If you look him up usually his hair is short, but search for his long hair (to his shoulders) because he doesn't look as pretty with short hair. Food
After the show, the next two days was a foodcation...heaven
We went to a food truck called Kotaco, I think? And got Korean chicken tacos.
I had cookie butter for the first time. I would still rather have a spoonful of nutella.
Waffle Love. I had banana cream pie, which was a chocolate filled waffle.
Nielsen's Frozen Custard. I had brownie.
And Settebello. I had the Margherita pizza which was the best of the three I thought.
Kind of. April and May I was busy getting final projects and papers done. I took my final exams, all A's by the way (hurrah!) and that weekend I went out of town. Then I came back and went to work. This is the first day where I have had absolutely nothing to do, well except register for classes next fall. I am back to a bit more laid back schedule for now. Except I just found out there are extra hours at work, so I might be working more. Because it is summer I will also be going out of town more often. But I don't think it'll be a month and a half between posts anymore.
