Note: my glitter red was more of a dark bronze red and then added more glitter to it although the camera didn't catch the glitter very well, like at all.

Vacation/ Spring Haul

I received a new lipstick from Sonia Kashuk. It's Shine Luxe Sheer Lip Colour in Sheer Melon. Before I opened it I actually thought that was the lipstick at the top.

Nope.

It may be the picture because I don't think it looks this dark, but all lipsticks do look darker and then when you put them on they're lighter you expected.

Here it is on. I think it's a very nice melon color and you can play with the intensity. It's pretty put on lightly and then you get that sheer melon look. Then the more color you add the more it gets more melon looking.

Then I went shopping. I'm going to the beach soon and I really don't have anything beach worthy. So....

I got a cover up with skulls going down the front and it has a tie to go around the neck.

It was from Wal-Mart and like $12, but they're pretty limited at least where I'm at, so I would try to snatch these up fast.

I also got capris with a cute red belt. I have roll them up though because I'm so short capris hit my ankles. About $15 also from Wal-Mart, yes i am not too good for Wal-Mart. I don't understand that, yeah some people that go there should look in a mirror before they go out, but also it has to do with location. I've actually been to some nice clean Wal-Marts and if ya get past all that they actually do have some cute clothes.

And I'm done with my rant, sorry.

I own no swimsuits, so I got one from Ross, can you believe it? If you haven't seen, Ross has the most limited rack of swimsuits and you're lucky if you can find one swimsuit in two different sizes.

I found one and luckily it was my size. It's kind of like a mini dress, but minier (is that a word?)I'll add a dash mini-er. Eh you get it. It's cute and makes me look small ha ha.

 Since today is Easter.
I stayed up all night and slept all day today, so there's not much time left to make these today. But they're good for any day too.

Easter muddy buddies

Here's a recipe . I skipped the marshmallows, but I think these are pretty much just regular muddy buddies, with Easter m&m' s. 

5 Things To Do This Week/end

1. Make a sandwich

And get a serving of fruit in. A cheese sandwich, I used 12 grain bread, American cheese, butter, aaaaaaaaand slices of an apple. I didn't use pears because I don't like them. It gave it a good crunch, but I think I'll go for a regular cheese sandwich next time.

2. Make like Coachella

Give yourself a messy fishtail or what I did was make random little fishtails. While doing that I went to Songza and played their Coachella playlist.

In a Coachella mood, why not create a dark berry lip.

3. The Beatles 

Hang out and listen to the Beatles. Put on their greatest hits and it brightens up the day.

4. Wear heels with denim

I forgot how cute a look like this could be and now that were getting into the warm months it's perfect. I just wear them on small excursions though because I'm pretty clumsy and I walk slower in heels too. If you're like me wedges and chunky heels are probably best.

Although it still doesn't keep me from owning high spiky heels, see below.

5. Show off heels by storing them in a bookcase.

Did you ever wear those stick on earrings when you were little? It was a huge thing when I was young especially since I wasn't allowed to get my ears pierced for the longest time. I used to have a whole page of them in different shapes and colors, I even had some that looked like ornaments for Christmas. Well today I found some in an old book I had. I never got a second piercing in my ear, but I always loved it when girls would wear hoops and have a diamond or stud next to it. So why not fake it? I put in a hoop and added a stick on earring. 

If you can find any, try it out. They're fun to use on different parts of your ear that aren't pierced without

There were things going wrong all over the place with this one. I think maybe I was doing the back wrong, maybe if I tried twisting the back pieces? Also I don't like it when the side ponytail is sticking out away from the face, it seems more childish to me.

I think this one is really cute in the back, but it felt really loose. I kept redoing it to try to make it tighter, but no such luck. Also I think it looked cuter in the back than in the front .
