Christmas Haul

I'm not really familiar with hauls, but I think this would be considered one? Unless everything you got had to be paid by you? I don't know, anyway here is all the makeup I got for Christmas. I can't afford any of that fancy makeup and neither can my family, so it's all like drug store makeup, but makeup is makeup, right?

I received this fabulous makeup trunk, with eyeshadow, blush, lip colors, gel eyeliner, eye highlighters, mascara.... so much to experiment with. The only problem that I just hate and I have this problem with other sets is that the blush is right next to the lip colors or on others the eyeshadow is right next to them. There is nothing worst then getting powder in your lip gloss. I mean there are probably other worse things, but in this context it sucks. Oh geez I don't even know if I used any of those words correctly, that's why I'm in makeup and fashion, people.
Other things received eyeshadow, mascara, eye crayons (still trying to figure out how to use those), and lots of lip colors. I like to get as many different lip colors as possible because I'm always looking for the perfect one and the colors do not always come out the color it's packaged in, which has saddened me. There's one that looks really dark from the outside and then when I tried it on it was this pink ruby color. Since trying out a few of my new ones, I have liked and used repeatedly this past week ELF's Super Glossy Lip Shine in Pink Pop and Milani's Crystal Gloss in Innocent. Both of them are pink colors, but different shades. Innocent is a very pale pink, can almost be used as a nude and I really like pale colors like that when I have darker eyes. Pink Pop is a little more pink, but not too much. I think it's actually a perfect pink, it gives you a little color without going overboard. Perfect with neutral eyes like a pale color on the lid and brown in the crease.

So later I'll probably make a second part with clothes and accessories.
Have a lovely day beautiful!
