Pinterest Series: Coconut Chicken

This is the website/recipe.

It wasn't too hard to make. Instead of frying the chicken in a skillet, I used an electric fryer. Waaaay easier and faster. The taste: It was ok. Not my favorite, but edible. I don't think that I would make it again, but other people said that they liked it. It all depends on your taste in food.

MUSIC

Spotify discover weekly playlist. This was such a great idea Spotify! I don't know how long they've been doing this for, but I recently found it. It's a playlist that spotify makes for you based on music you've been listening to and kind of like a "hey, you might like these songs." They update it every Monday and the playlists are usually about 2 hours. So if you like the playlist or certain songs you have to make sure to save them to a new playlist, so you don't lose them.
This was the first playlist I made from what they gave me. If you want you can follow me and I have a few other playlists and most likely future playlists from this new discover playlist. Be warned I have an eclectic taste in music.



Kings of Suburbia - Tokio Hotel



Tokio Hotel is like my guilty pleasure. I just went to their show and waited for weeks to get their CD in the mail. I like it. The music is fun and a bit different from what they usually do. It's more electronic. If you do get it, get the deluxe version because all the best songs are on that one. I like "Stormy Weather", "Girl Got A Gun", and "Never Let You Down." These ones that I like are only on the deluxe version: "Masquerade", "The Heart Get No Sleep", and "Great Day."

MOVIES

My favorite chick flick ever is Ten Things I Hate About You. It used to be on UK Netflix, but was recently removed. So obviously I had to go and buy it.

I just had a day full of watching youtube videos and thought why not share my favorite people.
We'll start off with Lifestyle.
Kat O'Keeffe - It's all about books. I always have goodreads opened while watching her videos. She makes me want to turn youtube off and go read, which I did after a day full of videos.
Bethany Mota - She's pretty great. She's the first lifestyle youtuber I've watched. Since then I have found a few others that are like her, but haven't been watching them long enough to know if they're favorites.

I found another way to wear my denim shirt and I think it turned out really cute. It's the same denim shirt from the last post except this time I tied the ends together.

Pinterest Outfit

I recently became an owner of a denim shirt and I have no idea how to wear them. I find it weird to wear it with jeans, so I have to find other alternatives. There was a pin on pinterest with a girl in a denim shirt, white skirt, and a wide brown belt. I tried to recreate that without the belt and I think it came out well.

Pinterest Series: Battleshots and Cookie Mocktails

We used V8 Fruit Juice because original V8 would be too disgusting. This was still super disgusting, especially since I had to play twice. It's played like the game Battleship, but when you get hit you have to down a shot.

These were super easy to make and delicious. Melt chocolate, roll the cup in it, and then roll it in sprinkles. Fill it with milk and add a cookie.

Bonus: I've never had a macaroon before. They were really good. We just got ours at Walmart because we had a hard time finding a bakery that makes them. There was vanilla, raspberry, pistachio, and chocolate. I liked the vanilla and raspberry the best.

Favorite Things: July

This is a tad late because July has been pretty busy. I've been out of town for quite a bit of it and I've been starting new projects. SO here it goes.

Music:

I went to Tuacahn, which is an amphitheater built into a canyon and it's amazing. During the summer they have three Broadway musicals. This summer was Beauty and the Beast, Wish Upon a Star, and Sister Act. I went to Beauty and the Beast and it was so fun. They always add in extras like during "Be Our Guest" bubbles came floating down on us and they end the shows with fireworks.

Technically this wasn't in July, it was August first, but since I'm doing this in August now might as well add it. I saw Tokio Hotel at the House of Blues. Bubbles also fell down on us at this show. I found this band at the beginning of high school, so about eight years ago? Whoa I feel old. Ok, so anyway you know when you feel like this band is too big or just seem out of reach. It's hard to imagine that you'll ever see them in concert, well Tokio Hotel was one of those bands for me. It's crazy and amazing. I never realized how tall Bill was, but he's super tall. He also changes clothes really fast and these clothes did not look like you could just unzip and throw off. It was great.

Outside/ Wilderness/ Nature:

It's so pretty and calming. Plus a MOOSE! Just walking around like it's no big deal.
