Christmas Haul

I had a few firsts the week of Christmas. I rode on a train for the first time; we did the polar express in Arizona. Mrs. Claus makes delicious cookies and hot chocolate. The train went to the north pole where we saw Santa and received our bells like in the movie.  

The second "first" thing was I had dinner at Denny's after the polar express. I have never been to a Denny's before, turns out their food is average and tastes like any other place. Next stop IHOP; I've never been there either. The last "first" thing I did was go to the Grand Canyon. Oh and while driving there we stopped by and saw the old Route 66. 

Now onto Christmas!  

It's a fitness kind of year!

They're a band from the U.K. They've been around, I just take a long time finding new bands. I found them when I went to see every time I die and the ghost inside; they opened for them.


I'm excited that winter break is coming up! I will have a whole month off, so I plan on being here more often.

Mini Haul

This is just some stuff I got from Wal-Mart. So it's all pretty cheap and you guys can easily find these products.
First off I always flock to elf products and there are now little displays you can find in stores with all elf makeup. I was looking for a concealer, but they didn't have my color, so I found this concealer instead. Bonus it is also a zit zapper and it smells like one too, it had that medicated smell to it, but just when you first put it on. At first it goes on very dark and I started freaking out because it was way too tan for me, but I started blending it and adding it to other parts of my face and it started looking normal.
 I also got my first real pair of false lashes (the others were Halloween lashes). These are the natural false lashes from elf and I haven't worn them yet, so I'll have to do an update on that. I did take them out and they are looong, I'm so glad I didn't get the dramatic lashes.
Next is just some body wash; I couldn't decide, they all smelled so good, but I chose almond and verbena.



This is the most expensive thing I bought which was around $20, so a very cheap haul.
It's super cute and it holds a lot! I can fit textbooks and my laptop in it, plus have more things in the little pockets on the front. I think it suits me; I can be girly or wear all dark clothes and this bag goes well with both.

Yellow eyeshadow - I have really been into yellow lately, I feel like I just discovered it. I usually don't wear yellow, but when paired with another color it can be so pretty or super cool.

It's a book I have to read for an English class, but it's actually quite interesting. It's about memory and Foer training for the USA Memory Championships.

The Madden Brothers. I've become a little obsessed. It's so different from Good Charlotte.

I have the Songza app and I'm always playing Disney playlists. Songs from old and new disney movies. I don't know why, sometimes you just need a little disney during the day, you know? I like to play it when doing homework, maybe it helps with stress or something.
